International Master of Ophthalmology in Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney for academic year (2015-2017)


Hanoi Medical University (HMU) is pleased to announce the Master training program of Clinical Ophthalmology 3rd Course (academic year 2015-2017).


·       Application open: 9/9/2014

·       Application end: 28/1/2015

·       Duration: 2 years (March 2015- August 2017)

·       Language: English

·       Eligibility :

-       Applicants must be general doctor with Orientation Certificate of Ophthalmology  

-       English level : 6.5 IELTS or TOEFL 577

·       Training methods:

-        Distance learning for theoretical subjects

-        Clinical practice in National Institute of Ophthalmology ( instructed by faculty of HMU and Pham Ngoc Thach Medical University )

-        Training course to be held in Hanoi or Sydney

-        Examination after each module

-        At the end of training program, the Australian lecturer will cooperate with Vietnamese faculty to give student the instruction in writing essay or final paper that will be posted on international magazine.

·       Program:

-        Glaucoma

-        Cornea and Anterior Segment Surgery

-        Medical Retina

-        Pediatric Ophthalmology and Neuro-Ophthalmology

·       Admission  : 2 general doctors will be selected by HMU and USYD

·       Certification: After graduation, students will get the Master degree of University of Sydney  , certified by Australian Ministry of Education

·       Tuition fees

USYD will reduce 50% of tuition fee for 2 students of 3th year (estimated 18,770 AUD)
