According to the Memorandum of Partnership between Hanoi Medical University (HMU) and International University of Health and Welfare, Japan (IUHW), HMU agreed to yearly receive exchange students from IUHW coming to visit HMU and joining the exchange program in summer semester

HMU offers some non-degree programs in the fields of medicine and health sciences. Students receive their practical training at one or more of our affiliated hospitals and laboratories in Hanoi. They may complete their student exchange during the year in both autumn and spring semesters. Both exchange and non–degree students can apply to study in the following areas:
